Triethyl phosphate is a kind of high boiling point solvent, and can be used as a plasticizer and catalyst of rubber and plastics.
It can also be used as a raw material for producing pesticides and insecticides, and used as an ethylating reagent for producing ketene.

Application
 
1.Catalyst: xylene isomer catalyst, olefin polymerization catalyst, catalyst used for producing lead tetraethyl, catalyst for producing carbodiimide, catalyst for trialkyl boron and olefin replacement reaction catalyst for producing ketene under action of high-temperature dehydration of acetic acid, catalyst for polymerization of styrene and conjugated diene compounds. If they are used at the time of polymerization of phthalic acid and ethylene glycol, fiber discoloration can be prevented.
2. Solvent: solvent for nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate, solvent for maintaining the service life of organic peroxide catalysts, solvent for dispersing fluorinated ethylene, peroxides and diluents for curing catalysts of polyester resins and epoxy resins.
3. Stabilizer: Chlorinated insecticides and stabilizers, stabilizers of phenolic resins, and solid agents of sugar alcohol resins.
4. Synthetic resin: curing agent of xylenol formaldehyde resin, softener of phenolic resin used in shell moulding, softener of vinyl chloride, plasticizer of vinyl acetate polymer, flame retardant of polyester resin.
