Polyketone resin (also known as Aldehyde resin, keto aldehyde resin) is a kind of high brightness, light resistance of neutral, non-saponified cyclohexanone formaldehyde resin. The resin forms a saturated ring structure in the condensation period, which makes it have high gloss, hardness, resistance to degradation and weather resistance. Because this resin does not contain ester bond in the structure, it has good water resistance, and the main bond contains a lot of cyclohexyl, which makes it has heat resistance. In addition, the polarity of ketone groups and hydroxyl groups makes it have a wide range of solubility compatibility, as well as good pig ment wettability and adhesion. Therefore,it can be compatible with compounds with larger polarity, but also compatible with compounds with smaller polarity, suitable for most ink, paint and adhesive system.

1. It soluble in all paint industry except water and aliphatic hydrocarbons commonly used in solvents,such as alcohols, ketones, esters, ethers and their mixed solvents.(Schedule 1)

It is recommended that the maximum accumulation layer of aldehyde resin is 5 layers when stored under the conditions of light, moisture and room temperature.
One year is recommended for polyketone resin and two years for aldehyde resin from the date of production. After expiration, if the indicators meet the standard can continue to use.
Remark: The recommended of polyketone resin is for reference only, and the manufacturer needs to determine the best amount of use according to its own adhesive formula and the use of adhesive raw materials. The maximum dosage is recommended not to exceed 15% in the entire system. If there is no problem of cracking or brittleness, the amount of use can be appropriately increased.
