Product Description

It is a high molecular weight, hydroxyl-functional, partially-hydrolyzed VAGH resin. It is a hydroxyl modified Terpolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate and vinyl alcohol.

It is a cross linkable with amino resins and polyisocyanates and is also compatible with a wide variety of resins including alkyds and acrylics. This resin has good adhesion to vinyl, and treated polyester and PE substrates. It imparts good sandability in vinyl/alkyd/urea wood sealers. It is cited in FDA regulations for use in food contact applications and is also heat-sealable.
 

Feature

Crosslinkable with amino resins or polyisocyanates;
Compatible with many other generic resins;
Resistance to water, alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons;
FDA approved for food contact applications;
High glass transition temperature ( Tg) for blocking resistance and sandability in wood sealers;
Adhesion to vinyl, cellulosics, PVC, ABS and properly treated PET and PE;
