Vinyl Chloride-Vinyl Acetates-Vinyl Alcohol Terpolymer (VAGH resin)
Description:
It is a high molecular weight, hydroxyl-functional, partially-hydrolyzed VAGH resin. It is a hydroxyl modified Terpolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate and vinyl alcohol.
Introduction:
It is a cross linkable with amino resins and polyisocyanates and is also compatible with a wide variety of resins including alkyds and acrylics. This resin has good adhesion to vinyl, and treated polyester and PE substrates. It imparts good sandability in vinyl/alkyd/urea wood sealers. It is cited in FDA regulations for use in food contact applications and is also heat-sealable.
Application:
It was widely be used in the industries of ink, paint, coating, industrial repair paint, marine paint, wooden surface paint, paper paint, metal decorate paint, container paint, adhesive for PVC/ armor plate, adhesive for tape etc
